Seriously – we don’t need a movie for everything.  Marmaduke? Really?  Was it an hour and a half of shoeing an overly large dog away from pies that were cooling on windowsills?  And did we really need Garfield, or Yogi Bear?

I’m willing to forgive those, as they all come from some sort of narrative background (comic strips and a cartoon, respectively).  But this, I cannot forgive.  The board game “Battleship” is just one kid blowing up another kid’s ships!  Maybe all of Hollywood just needs to take a big, collective vacation from work.
